What are the B.C. income tax rates?

Corporation income tax rates are expressed as a percentage of taxable income earned in the province. Please see our Tax Rates page for more information on current and past rates.


Do I have to file a separate B.C. tax return?

My business didn't earn a profit. Do I still need to file a return?

Yes. Corporations have to file every tax year even if there is no tax payable.


I am having problems filling out the forms. Who should I call for assistance?

The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) provides assistance in completing both the federal and provincial portions of income tax returns. They may be contacted at 1-800-959-5525.
