Refunds of Overpayments

If you have overpaid your MSP premiums, you are entitled to a refund.

Your payment will be held for 21 days from the date your payment was received in our office to ensure all payments have cleared through your financial institution.

If you have cancelled your account (i.e. if you are moving outside of B.C., or you are now covered under a group plan), a refund of overpaid premiums is automatic.

Before calling, please have your Account Number from your MSP Premium Billing Notice and the Personal Health Number(s) for the person(s) about whom you are enquiring.
