Vendor Complaint Review Process
If you are currently a vendor for the Ministry of Small Business and Revenue and would like to register a complaint, please refer to the following procedures.
The process for registering a Vendor Complaint relating to procurement activities carried out by or for the Ministry of Small Business and Revenue pursuant to Core Policy Chapter 6, Part II and the Vendor Complaint Review Process for Government Procurement can be found below (opens in new window).

If a complaint is not resolved through informal discussion, the vendor may complete and submit a Vendor Complaint Form to:
- The Procurement Contact listed on the competition posting, or
- The Ministry VCRP Contact, who will forward to the appropriate Procurement Contact.

The Vendor Complaint must be received within 30 business days after the notice of competition outcome. |

The Procurement Contact:

The Procurement Contact:
- Reviews the complaint
- Provides the Ministry VCRP Contact with the details associated with the procurement process
- Forwards file to the Ministry VCRP Contact

10 - 15 business days |

The Ministry VCRP Contact conducts a formal review of the details associated with the complaint and returns the file to the Procurement Contact. |
5 - 10 business days |

The Procurement Contact provides a written response for their ADM or equivalent to sign-off and send to the complainant. A copy of this letter will be sent to the Ministry VCRP.
If the complaint is merited, the letter will include a planned resolution and rationale.
If the complaint is denied or dismissed, the letter will include the reasons for denial or dismissal.
